A few minutes by car takes you to the Ostional National Wildlife Preserve (Refugio de Vida Silvestre Ostional) where you can see the Lora turtles lay their eggs. During certain times of the year you may see the birth of the baby turtles and their struggle for survival. The beaches of Nosara are internationally recognized for excellent surfing. Whale and dolphin watching, deep sea sport fishing and snorkeling are some of many activities you can enjoy in the ocean.
